Annotated Biblio Part 2

Concussions negatively affect athletes physically, mentally, and psychologically in the long term. Several articles discuss how concussions can lead to conditions like chronic traumatic encephalopathy and post-concussion syndrome. While rule changes and education can help reduce concussions, the long-term effects of these brain injuries are serious and can end athletes' careers prematurely. Repetitive concussions are particularly dangerous and have been linked to problems like early retirement from sports.
