3. Pour15ml(0.5oz.)ofoilintooilpumpandturnbalanceshaftgear(2)aminimumof3
revolutions.
4. Installnewpickuptubeandneworing.
5. Tightenpickuptuberetainingboltto10Nm(89in.lbs.).
6. Tightenpickuptubesupportbracketto22Nm(195in.lbs.).
7. InstallBSMlock99912(2).
8. Install2newlocatingsleeves.
9. Loosenintermediategear(1)retainingbolt90.
10. InstallBSMwithwhitedotonintermediategearpointingtowardsthecrankshaft.
11. Tightenallboltsto6Nm(53in.lbs.)inthesequenceshown.
12. Tightenbolts1,2,3,4,6,8to20Nm(177in.lbs.).
13. Tightenbolts5and7to15Nm(133in.lbs.).
14. Tightenallboltsanadditional90.
15. Installbalanceshaftgear(2)andtightenboltsto20Nm(177in.lbs.).
