Characteristics of A Systems Analyst

The document outlines the key characteristics needed for systems analysts and business analysts. For systems analysts, they must have technical knowledge of the organization's software and systems, be able to troubleshoot issues, know basic programming, and have strong communication, problem solving, and planning skills. Business analysts require many similar traits like being resourceful, working well under pressure, having multiple skills, being detail-oriented, analytical, and able to make logical decisions quickly. The reflection notes that fully acquiring all of these traits takes real work experience, and becoming a good systems analyst is a difficult goal that requires continuous effort.

Reflection:
Becoming a system analyst is already a difficult task, however, becoming a good system analyst is an
even tougher job. These characteristics are some traits I have not fully acquired, since these traits are
achieved when you work in companies or organizations. I believe that becoming a good system analyst
is something to work hard for since the traits needed do not come naturally for everyone.
