Dynamic parameters

We confirm we comply with all technical requirements, only exception is point 10


Point 10 asks for values to be in compliance with during all the Frequency response test,
however this will change all other dynamic values, saying this, we strongly suggest the
acceptance of the system stability results from our large amplitude step respond test. This value
is an industry proven std used worldwide for similar applications

Large Amplitude Step Respond Test Procedure

(a) Move the valve to 10% set point and wait for steady-state conditions

(b) Figure 2 illustrates the test signal for evaluating large amplitude response. Bidirectional
steps are initiated from a baseline of 10%. Step sizes range from 10% to 80% in
increments of 10%. Hold time for each step is to be 15 sec.
Well also provide Frequency response test, the values from this test must be used only as
reference, since the criteria used by Fisher is different to what it is requested by customer

Frequency Response Test Procedure

(a) Move the set point to 50% (12 mA) and wait for steady-state conditions.

(b) Apply a sinusoidal test signal with a 10% (20% peak-to-peak) amplitude.

(c) Record at least two cycles at 0.01 Hz, 0.02 Hz, 0.03 Hz, and four cycles from 0.12 Hz in
increments of 0.08 Hz. until -180 deg. phase shift is observed.

(d) Generate a Bode magnitude plot with the ratio of travel (%) and input (%) scaled to dB
on the ordinate and frequency on the abscissa. Frequency should be plotted on a
common log scale.

(e) Generate a Bode phase angle plot with phase angle (deg.) on the ordinate and
frequency on the abscissa. Frequency should be plotted on a common log scale.

Important to highlight, Fisher has been an antisurge valves approved supplier by GE for long
time, the proposed tests are a common practice worldwide for similar applications, GE is familiar
with those tests and have accepted this procedure for many projects
