Undergraduate Student Initiated Education Program (USIE) 2017
A music seminar offered through the Herb Alpert School of Music. I am now teaching
this undergraduate course at UCLA. Entitled, From Fingerpickers to Metalheads:
How the Guitar Took over the World it examines the role of the guitar in various
musical styles from around the world. I created the syllabus, teaching material and
lesson plans.

Cabrillo College Music Department 2011-2013
I worked under the direction of Susan C. Brown, head of the string department. My
duties included grading homework, exams and midterms, using notation software to
create exams and handouts, rehearsal set up and breakdown, instrument
management, student tutoring, and concert coordination.
I further assisted in courses such as music fundamentals, beginning piano, and
beginning and intermediate orchestra.

Cabrillo College Music Department Media Lab 2012-2014
I was responsible for distributing course media to students, archiving, computer
support and IT, practice room and locker check out, recording studio management,
and student tutoring.
Performance Outreach
UCLA Gluck Fellows Recipient 2016-Current
I perform in a UCLA Guitar Duo.
I provide free and educational recitals at schools, libraries, hospitals and areas
where students would otherwise not be able to have access to live music.
I give presentations on the history of the guitar.
