Note an excessively heavy cut wil heat he workpiece and cause ito expand making the cut even heavier. When te table has fed all the way across the workpiece ands clear set anther cut before the rection of cross traverse Y Continue grinding inthis fashion unt the surface has leaned up all over and the correct size has been obtained. ENDING OPERATIONS AND CLEANING UP switch off the machine when work completed. Y Clean up and absorb any coolant sil immediately ’ Leave the machine in a safe, clean and tidy state. DON'T % Do not use fauty equipment. immediately report any suspect machinery. Do not grind non-ferrous metals Do not hold small pioces on the magnetic table without using a fenee or vice to restrain them, Do not grind without using coolant. Do not tum off te whee! without first turing off the coolant. Do not use an excessively heavy cut Do not use @ dul or glazed wheel. Dress it % hele & ky Never leave the machine running unattended, CURRIE een Hi emergency button 7.List Emergency procedures for how to deal with fires, spills or exposure to hazardous substances Ensure flammable and combustible materials are not in proximily of the operations. In the event of a fire, use a fire extinguisher or fre blanket in close proximity o extinguish flames, if manageable, Otherwise raise alarm and evacuate.
