DO NOT USE THE CIRCUIT EARTH YOU MAY BE EARTHING A LIVE CIRCUIT!

If a permit for work requires the circuit earth to be put on the following points must be noted:
e Bring the circuit breaker to TEST POSITION by following the steps as specified in the point 5.2 1 to
9 e The breaker can now be removed from the cubicle by with drawing the trolley.
e Now you are able to connect the correct EARTHING TROLLEY.
I, The circuit earth switch applies an earth to the cables and whatever is connected to them.
If the circuit is a transformer or a feeder breaker/main breaker configuration, then further
2, isolation must be performed before the earth is applied at the other side of the transformer
or feeder/main breaker.
