The L500 laser has all in one housing.


The berthing system is based on lasers This housing is an EExd type box, IP66.
specially designed for this application.
The lasers are eye-safe to laser class 1
and assembled in a box certified for
hazardous areas Zone 1.

The laser range is approximately 1.2


times visibility and is unaffected by fog,
sand storm, rain and snow. Once a ship
is within a distance of 300 metres, the
approach can be handled in any weather
situation.

PERFORMANCE

The lasers operate in the 905 nm-band


optimised for this kind of operation.

The ILM laser is equipped with a front


window glass of the highest quality. This
glass is coated with a strong gold film to
minimise attenuations and to ensure top
performance in extreme situations.

The housing is made of a resistant Black


anodised aluminium. Therefore there is
no corrosion even in a salty environment.
The mounting bracket and sun cover is
made of steel.

The OEM range of ILM laser modules are


classified as a Class 1 or Class 2 eye safe
laser product in compliance with the
