The 7- Day Regionwide Training on Developmentally Appropriate Practices (DAP) on


Early Language, Literacy and Numeracy (ELLN) held on March 20-26, 2017 (Batch 2) at Anne
Raquels Resort, Olongapo City. It is conducted by the Department of Education through the
office of Region 3. There were 11 Divisions that participated in the said training. The main
goal of this training is to raise the achievement of our learners in Language, Literacy and
Numeracy through the use of Appropriate Practices.

Indeed, this training has imparted sufficient knowledge on DAP and it properly
executed in every classroom. It was a fruitful and fun learning experienced to every
delegates of different division. Teachers, School Heads and Division Supervisors are actively
participated in every activity of the training. They worked as a team to create manipulative
instructional materials to display to their respected Division booth.
