2. Simple Past Tense

Ex: They went to Jakarta last week

(-) S + did + not + V1


Ex: They didnt go to Jakarta last week

3. Present Continuous Tense


(+) S + to be + Ving
Ex: Salsa is doing her homework right now

(-) S + to be + not + Ving


Ex: Salsa isnt doing her homework right now

Ex: Is Salsa doing her homework right now?

4. Past Continuous Tense


(+) S + was/were + Ving
Ex: Sophia was talking to Rachel when Brian saw
them
They were playing badminton when Caca came

(-) S + was/were + not + Ving


Ex: Sophia was not talking to Rachel when Brian
saw them
They were not playing badminton when Caca
came

5. Present Perfect Tense

Ex: We have bought some food before

6. Past Perfect Tense

7. Present Perfect Continuous Tense

10. Future Continuous Tense
