Dear BUILD-IT Colleagues,

On behalf of the Building University-Industry Learning and Development through Innovation and Technology (BUILD-IT)
project and Arizona State University, it is my pleasure to invite you to attend a project-learning workshop. This
workshop on 29 September will focus on project-based learning and is entitled Project-Based Learning Models.

The BUILD-IT leadership team has planned this workshop after receiving requests from BUILD-IT partners. We hope
you and your colleagues will attend the event to work with ASU, Da Nang University of Science & Technology and
National Instruments colleagues, towards developing deeper understanding of implementing models of project-based
learning to improve student learning and professional skills.

This workshop offered to Deans, Division/Department Chairs and Vice Rectors, if they wish to attend. A full day
workshop will be held in Hanoi on 29 September, at VNU-Hanois University of Engineering and Technology. (However,
if this workshop does not fit your schedule, we are also offering a half day version in Da Nang on 26 September. You
are welcome to attend either but please RSVP using the link below.)

This workshop will engage participants in exploring details of various implementation models while experiencing
typical project-based hand-on activities provided by our industry partner. In addition, details about how one
Vietnamese school has begun planning for curriculum change to incorporate project-based learning will be presented.
A detailed agenda for the workshop is also attached.

We hope that you and your colleagues will be able to attend this workshop! You will explore details of various
implementation models while experiencing typical project-based hand-on activities provided by our industry partner.

Please RSVP at this link by 20 September 2017 (or 20 September for the Da Nang workshop via this link). Comments
or questions can be directed to Ms. Dang Tran Phuong Anh, Program Manager ([email protected] /MP: +84 122 338
