In this short tutorial I will show you how you can launch the SAP CRM WEBUI application.
Depending on the CRM release you would be working in, there are different options to access
the CRM WEB UI. You can check your release the following way:
When logged on in the SAP CRM using the SAPGUI, in the menu you select: <System - Status>

In the following screen you click on the magnifying-glass in the field "Component Version": programming interface, BWI software,
AcceleratedSAP methodology, and and any other

In the following screen, you scroll down till you see Software component "BBPCRM". In the field
release you can see that I am working on a 7.0 Release.

In CRM2007 you can add the URL of the WEBUI into your favorites in the SAP Menu. In order to do
so you do the following: In the SAP Menu, choose Favorites >> Add other Objects

Press the OK button.
You can now start the Web client User Interface via your favorites.
As of CRM 7.0 release there are some changes to logon to the new WEB UI. See SAP OSS Note:
1173951 There are several options that you can try, of which I personally suggest you just find
out which URL should be used, and save this URL as a favorite in your Web browser (Internet
Explorer)
Option 1: Via the transaction code SICF you select the Service Name "CRM_LOGON".

Press the Execute button.
In the following screen you select the service "crm_logon" and right-mouse click, where you
select 'test link'.
You should then get the logon screen, where you need to enter your User ID and password:

In this case you can just save this URL into your browsers favorites and call this SAP CRM
WEBUI.
Option 2: When logged on to the SAPGUI, you can also use the transaction code CRM_UI to logon
to the SAP CRM WEBUI.

This transaction will also launch your internet browser with the SAP CRM logon screen as shown in
above screenshot.
Option 3: Look-up the URL of the CRM WEBUI
Use transaction code SE80 and select the BSP application CRM_UI_START.
Double-click on the page default.htm. On the tab page "Properties" you will find the URL that
you can use directly in your web browser to launch the SAP CRM WEB UI.

Thanx Davy.
I checked with the components but i couldn't get it . Getting lot of
confusion with BSP application CRM_UI_START .
In that we have only one .htm page and other all are not of that
kind . and i am struggling to know where that views are used in the
component (and also for what purpose)

I am not a developer, but if you already know the component/view than
you can use the BSP component workench to see the relevant class &
controller behind it...and see more technical info .

Hi Prodipta,
unfortunately I am not a basis consultant, so have no experience in
installing SAP systems.. I just know how you can launch the CRM WEBUI
once installed correctly.
I assume if you follow installation guides provided on service.sap.com
this should not be a big problem?
Additionally you can Always pose your question on SCN.

Hi,
Want to use CRM WEBUI on SSO with out using user id and password.
Can explain to me and steps need to be followed. SICF service ablew do the
same SAPGUI SSO option.
