Low Blinds: Preflop

Pre-flop Hand Selection Guide Default Pre-flop Raises


Early Position: Raise TT+, AK 10/20 to 25/50: 3XBB
Middle Position: Raise 88+, AQ+ 30/60 and higher: 2.5XBB
Late (Hijack,CO): Raise 66+, AT+, KQ
Against Limpers
Button or Small Blind: Raise 44+, A2s, A7o,
Any 2 Broadways Raise Size = Normal Raise + 1BB/limper

Low Blinds: Postflop

Post-Flop Pot Control Strategy Rule of 4 and 2

Strong hand (TPTK+) = 3+ bets Flop Draw Equity = 4 (#outs)

Medium hand (MPSK-TPWK) = 2 bets or less Turn Draw Equity = 2 (#outs)

Weak hand (MPWK or worse) = 1 bet or less


Big Hand = Big Pot, Small Hand = Small Pot

*TPTK - Top pair top kicker, MPSK - Middle Pair Strong Kicker, TPWK - Top Pair Weak Kicker, MPWK - Middle Pair Weak Kicker
