The document is a pre-nuptial agreement between two parties who intend to marry. [1] It establishes that their property regime during marriage will be one of "partial separation of property" where each party's existing separate properties are excluded and not considered part of the conjugal partnership. [2] Any properties acquired after marriage or earnings from work will be considered part of the conjugal property under a regime of "absolute community of property". [3] The agreement also outlines specifics about ownership and administration of separate and conjugal properties, as well as treatment of fruits from separate properties and debts incurred from joint endeavors.
