Extron Ceiling Speaker Calculator Coverage Map - Extron

This document provides information from an Extron ceiling speaker calculator to design a distributed speaker system for a room that is 15 meters wide and 27 meters long. It recommends installing 15 ceiling speakers spaced 5.4 meters apart in rows and 5 meters apart in columns. The coverage area per speaker is 32 square meters and each speaker needs a minimum power of 0.12 watts to provide adequate sound for the size of the room at a minimum needed sound level of 65dB SPL. It also provides the radius of coverage for each speaker down to noise reductions of 3dB, 6dB, 9dB and 12dB.
