March 9 Digital Learning Day
Fulton County is piloting our March 9 make-up day as a Digital Learning Day, where students will work
independently from home on schoolwork and projects using home technology or a non-tech alternative. Each grade
level has developed a menu of options for students to complete. These options take into consideration students’
home access to technology and internet by providing both tech and non-tech options. They also reflect consideration
of students’ age, grade, development, and curriculum. Students in Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade should spend
approximately 90 minutes on these activities (around 45 minutes for math and 45 minutes for language arts), while
students in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade should spend approximately 180 minutes (around 90 minutes for math and 90
minutes for language arts). Menus are linked below as well as directions for accessing online resources. All
assignments should be completed and handed in to your child’s homeroom teacher by Monday, March 12. Please

To all rising 6th grade parents at AMMS:

AMMS PTA is looking for parents interested in board positions and chair positions for next year. We are fortunate to

and some great chair positions including the 6th grade dance/parties chair, membership co-chair, school store and spirit
wear co-chairs. Our goal is for all feeder schools and communities to be represented in all AMMS PTA endeavors.

Please contact Sheri Veal, nominating chair, at [email protected] or Elizabeth Stansbury, co-president, at
