Practice Visualization & Movement, 2017 Create a simple animation that visualized emotional expression through
Resolution (1920*1080) movement with designed shapes, pattern, and colors. Clearly show a circle of
Compression Codec (H.264) changing emotions. Most shapes could be related or connected each other.
Audio (Specify Stereo)
For this motion graphics animation, I plan on combinating a series of girl’s
TRT 00:38:00
minds with geometric shapes. The concept of mind is always abstract.but
using some graphics could convey people a “representational” feeling. It’s a
practice of movement and rhythm, so the BGM will affect the process.

APPLE

A P P LE
Designing commercial based on Jungian archetypes

The Jungian archetype of Apple is the creator. Creator is a person or thing bringssometing into exstence. Author, writer, designer,
maker, producer, artist, scientist, farmer, etc.
Their characteristics are approximately same, powerful, innovative, creative, intelligent, exploratory
1. A creator loves what they do. 2. A creator knows how to do what they do. 3. A creator does what they do.
In this project, I want to use a perspective of god. And some personality and characterizes of creators, like farmer, scientist, and artist will be
put into the God of our world. At the beginning of the short animation, the God plants a “three” with many planetary “fruits”. Then, he
grabs one of those mature fruits,
drops some liquid medicine onto
the planet. This planet transfers
into a red sphere. In addition, the
God wants to carve it with an ap-
ple’s shape. By a mistake, the god
peaks a hole in the sphere. It looks
like an apple, which is bitten. But
it becomes unique and special.

As a result, the perspective of god

is too far away for normal custom-
ers, for us. So I’ve changed some
ideas about the story.
This is teamwork, a making process
of a unique apple. So I use different
appearance of hand to shoe differ-
ent careers, as different creators.
“Think different” is an advertising
slogan for Apple. Thus, this short
animation wants to convey multi-
ple thoughts from various people.

STRANGER THINGS

Show Branding

Although the current title sequence is good enough by using some changing glowing letters. The abstract expression is mysterious
and brief. Also its style and genre is perfectly fit with the creepy content. However, I still want to try to take some representational
and unique elements or scenes from Stranger Things to create a different show open, like the flashlight, forest, the tabletop small
figure, etc.

At the beginning of this project, a glowing,

shiny girl approaches from the dark. And
I use a rotating red light strip to imply an
important thing about the story. Then, the
girl stretches her hand to use her super-
natural power. There is a transition from
the girl’s hand to the monster’s hand. The
monster tries to run out from the wall.
And the broken wall can see two oppo-
site worlds. We can see a huge monster in
other world chases the disappearing boy.
Finally, the girl who has the power helps
the lost boy’s friends and mother to find
the boy and expose the guilty laboratory.

THE WORLD AT YOUR FINGERTIPS

WORL D
Braille Package Design for Blind
ProSocial Design – tactile approach

I remember that there was a special school for disabled students near my university in china. I had gone to the school for serval
times. And I chatted with some sightless students about their daily life. Even current society is going to be more and more friendly
and respectful to them. Actually, they still feel tough and helpless when they are in some public places. For example, they cannot go
shopping by themselves. A companion or a translator is very necessary for them.
Thus, why not design all products with a braille label like L’Occitane? Braille helps them to figure out which thing they choose.
So, this project aims to use a perspective of an organization, RNIB (Supporting People with Sight Loss), to appeal companies on the
market pay more attention to blind customers by designing braille package,
a nd also hope governments can provide some appropri-
ated public services for them.
L et’s make the world more readable!

NO WAR, NO LOSS

LO SS
Art and War

Because of the wars in history, there have been a lot of artwork damages. Some may keep well in museums until now, but most of
them were missing or destroyed. Absolutely, it is a big loss in art.
This project aims to appeal a peaceful world without war by using a perspective of a destroyed statue in a tactile way.
The main styleframes show a little narrative talking about the statue’s dream or monologue.

He is burning in a dark night

like other artworks in a strong
fire. When a dragonfly stops
on the statue’s head, we are
able to see the pictures in
his dream. He dreams that he
and other artworks like paint-
ings, sculptures, ceramics,
books, and music are free,
and they can escape and
save themselves. However, it
is just a beautiful wish in the
dream. A big contrast be-
tween the dream and reality
tells us no war no loss.
