● DL: Stance & Alignment (will only get a strength call, no 42 call this year). DE w/no TE align on
outside shoulder
● ILB: Stance, Alignment, Strength Calls (Tight call for strength)
● S/W: Stance, Alignments vs. I formation (7x3 for Sam off EMOL, 5x3 for Will)
● DB’s: Stance, Alignment

2. Indy (15) Agility & Basics


● DL: Extension, Power Step
● ILB: Agility, 1 step reads
● S/W: Agility, Teach Block Reactions-Down, Pass. Don’t Go Until You Know!
● DB’s: BP, Turn & Go, 45 Breaks, Fade Drill,
 
3. (20) Base Reads
● DT: Down & Kick, Reach To/Away
● DE: Down & Kick, Base, Reach
● ILB: Introduce I Reads (Power O, Iso, Counter, Toss). Also include pass drops. Backer-
Screen/Draw/Hole Player unless RB goes deep Mike: 45 drop. Unless RB goes deep. Wall
technique!
● S/W: Continue Run/Pass Reactions. Add: Wheel, Hitch routes if time.
● FS: TE Reads.
○ Run Support Angles, Pass Reactions. Finish with a ½ line situation with CB’s. Rep
Post-Wheel routes.
○ Calls: In, Out, Smash
● CB: 1 WR Reads. Key OT if no #2. Read Step on everything! Work Run & Pass (Fade/Post).
Calls: In, Out, Smash

4. 7 on 7(15):
DL: Aim/Toro: DT’s slant TO or AWAY from the strength call
Army/Tank: DL slants TO or AWAY from strength call. DE only slants if he has a TE. No TE = No Slant.
Key the foot/hip of the OL you are slanting to.

● Include: RB Seem routes, Rollout/Boot rules (Throwback!)

5. Perimeter Session (20) -


● DL: Pass Rush Drill. Hands up! Twist stunts?
● Mix of Pass/Run. Should also move the ball from MOF to Hashes
