Significance of the Study

This study will help to understand and evaluate the effects of the number

of hours adhered in the utilization of gadgets in Grade 10 students’ academic

performance.

The result of the study will provide the students with some knowledge on

how gadgets affect their academic performance. It will help them to be aware of

their responsibilities as students.

The results would be beneficial for the parents to be reminded of their

important roles as parents. The given data would help them formulate some

preventive measures on how to lessen the use of gadgets of their children.

This study will be beneficial to teachers to help them examine whether the

use of gadgets has negative implications on student’s academic performance.

Thus, they would impose discipline in the classroom in the use of gadgets.

The results of the study will also help the school heads to impose

disciplinary actions for students who were addicted to gadgets especially the

students whose grades and performance are greatly affected.
