To Whom It May Concern:
It is with great pleasure that I recommend Andrew Moua. I have known Andrew for two years as he has
been in the Merced High School AVID elective. As a student, Andrew constantly emits a positive drive to succeed
in everything he does. This motivation is obvious not only to me but to the students around him. He challenges
himself to tackle difficult assignments that push him to overcome obstacles that most people avoid. He is a very
motivated and hard-working young adult. I have noticed the positive attitude he displays in the classroom. He
is very assertive and selfless. Andrew is a very friendly, helpful, and polite young man. He is well liked by his
peers and adults.
Along with being an excellent student, Andrew has also demonstrated many valuable work related skills.
Andrew shows wonderful time management, he has a great eye for detail, he can work in an area with many
distractions without losing the quality of his work, and he enjoys a challenge. Andrew has been an active
member of the AVID Club and elective class for two years, he is a part of the Leo (officer), Kiwin’s (officer) &
Multicultural (officer) clubs at Merced High School. Andrew is also a part of the volleyball team, and he has
done all of this while working on campus and maintaining a 3.7 GPA.
Andrew is a very ambitious person who will strive for success in any situation in which he is presented
with. I feel as an educator that Andrew has the ability and experience to be a great asset for any organization or
school. If there are any concerns, please contact me at Merced High School. My phone number is (209) 385-
6454.
Sincerely,
