Further Proof That Einstein Was Wrong

Abstract : This short paper is to provide further proof, in addition to the below listed acknowledgements, using
properties of a pendulum, with rather far reaching implications of toppling Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity,
yet again. It can be considered to be the final nail, in Einstein’s General Theory Relativity’s, coffin.

I. Introduction
Exploring the properties of a simple Pendulum, the idea is to point out the flaw in Einstein’s General
Theory of Relativity. It is generally accepted in the scientific community that Einstein,s General Relativity Theory
breaks down at quantum scales, however this paper shows that even on macro and right upto the cosmological
scales, the General Theory of Relativity is flawed.

II. Description
We have all learnt in school that, in broad terms,
The period T of a simple pendulum, the time taken for a complete cycle, is given by
(1 ) T = 2 pi x underoot L / g
where L is the length of the pendulum and g is the local acceleration due to gravity.
From the above equation, it follows that the rate of flow of time at any particular location is inversely proportional to
this period T, meaning higher the period T the slower is the rate of time flow and vice versa.
It also follows from equation (1 ) that the period of pendulum at the Equator of the Earth as compared to
that at the Poles is higher, due to lesser gravity at the Equator, so Time flows more slowly at the Equator. Now this
is exactly the opposite to what is postulated by Einstein’s General Theory of Relativity, which states that ‘ In regions
of lesser gravity, time flow speeds up ’. In layman’s terms, a Pendulum slows down at the Equator as compared to at
the Poles of the Earth. So when you go higher and higher from the surface of earth, the time flow slows down, rather
than speed up.
The pendulum will not stop at any Lagrangian Points between heavenly bodies, but will stop at the Event Horizon of
a Black Hole, where it would not be possible to budge the pendulum. At this point, the period T of the pendulum can
be said to be zero and consequently, time flow to be infinite. So time flow is infinite from the event horizon and
beyond to the black hole itself and not zero as postulated by General Relativity. It is for this reason that the Black
Hole cannot emit any light, as the electromagnetic wave will not be able to propagate, since the rate of time flow is
infinite. Though relativists have a notion that the EM wave photons go into orbit at the event horizon, however this
is not true. . In a similar vein, it is claimed by many that, GPS operation is possible only because of Einstein’s
General Relativity. However this is not the case. The GPS receivers have an empirically applied correction to offset
the different clock rates on these satellites, as compared to land based clocks. Nothing but nothing has ever been
calculated out of Einstein’s Field Equations, for the operation, navigation or communications, of any satellites or
deep space probes.

Now the explanation, why a Pendulum will not stop at the Lagrangian Points. Let’s take the case of the
Earth and the Moon. The Lagrange Point between them is still orbiting the Sun and the Sun is still orbiting the
central Black Hole of our Galaxy, and the pendulum is influenced by the residual gravity. However it can be said
that the slowest Time Flow between the Earth and the Moon is encountered at the Lagrange Points.
 III. Conclusion
Time dilates or slows down and not speed up, as you rise above the surface of the Earth, which is exactly
opposite, to that postulated by Einstein’s General Relativity. It would be worthwhile to quote here, the physicist,
Late Richard Feynman ‘ If your theory, no matter how elegant, does not agree with experiment, it is wrong ‘. Here
the theory in question is Einstein’s GR. Though Einstein being a very humble man, had once reportedly remarked: ‘
I have generated the math for General Relativity, which I myself do not understand and a single experiment can
prove it all wrong ‘. His prediction seems to have been accurate in light of this paper. Here it would be safe to
assume that, ever since the Pendulum and Pendulum Clocks have been around, the experiment discussed in this
paper, has been performed once or even multiple times by some entities.
