5A Symmetrical Power Supply

This document is a circuit diagram for a 5A 30V symmetrical power supply. It uses a 400VA 2x27V toroidal transformer and LM317/LM337 voltage regulators configured to provide +/-15V outputs from the dual 27V transformer secondary windings. Heat sinks are recommended for the voltage regulator transistors Q1 and Q2. Variable resistors are specified for R1 and R2 to allow adjustment of the positive and negative output voltages.
