Ms. Zenaida Galang-Eturma: To The Flag Raising Ceremony

The document is a letter from Roy Victory B. Ruba, a Legal Assistant II, to Ms. Zenaida Galang-Eturma explaining his non-attendance at the flag raising ceremony that morning. Ruba had to accompany his eight-year-old daughter to school that morning after she woke up late. By the time they arrived at her school, it was past 7 AM, so he was unable to attend the ceremony and arrived late to the office. He asks that this explanation be considered favorably.

Re: Explanation For Non-Attendance

To The Flag Raising Ceremony

Dear Madam:

Greetings!

This has reference to your letter dated January 27, 2014 addressed to the
undersigned regarding my non-attendance to the flag raising ceremony.

Much as I like to attend the flag raising ceremony however, due to a

compelling family obligation to accompany my eight-year old daughter to
her school with a class which starts at seven o’clock in the morning, she
woke up late as it was already past seven o’clock a.m., consequently, I
came in late in the office and was not able to attend the said flag raising
ceremony.

May this explanation merits a favorable consideration.

Very truly yours,

ROY VICTORY B. RUBA

Legal Assistant II
