Benefits of MiR Robots
Very flexible: Easily re-mapped and Increase productivity: go around obstacles
and find the best path according to their
taught new destinations and tasks internal map ensuring the material flow
Redeploy workers from pushing a Support changing business needs: Redeploy
easily to different processes or facility
cart to higher-value activities layouts
Fast ROI: Do not require any Very user-friendly: Easy to control via a
expensive installation and pay simple web interface that requires no prior
themselves off in less than a year programming experience
Safe operation: Maneuver safely
around people and obstacles, even Many applications: Can be redeployed for
different tasks with various top modules
in very dynamic environments
AMR vs. AGV
AMR – Autonomous (collaborative) Mobile Robot
AGV – Automated Guided Vehicle
AMR AGV
Trackless, autonomous navigation Requires ”tracks” – e.g. magnetic stripes in the floor or wires
Travels safely around people and obstacles Stops at any obstacle without possibility to change route
Easy to expand/change work area Expensive and time consuming to expand/change work area
Navigates dynamically using a map, allowing it to plan it’s own path Restricted to fixed routes
▪ Includes a VL Marker for accurate docking
▪ Laser guided into position
▪ Automated in-house transport solutions
▪ Automatic pick-up and drop-off of carts
▪ Towing Capacity of MiRHook 100: 300 kg – 661 lbs.
▪ Towing Capacity of MiRHook 200: 500 kg – 1100 lbs.
▪ Fleet Management for optimized robot traffic
▪ Automatic prioritization and selection of the robot best suited for a job, based on position and availability
▪ Planning of the use of different top modules
▪ Text message or e-mail notifications if obstacles prevent the robots from completing planned jobs
