EGPN 325 Assignment 1 110107795

The document summarizes the poet's comparison of learning a new language to a baby's development. It discusses how the poet struggled at first with only a few words in Sotho, like a crawling baby, but over time was exposed to the language through interactions and looked forward to the day he could converse fluently. It then analyzes images, devices, and themes in two other poems, one comparing a season to life and the other calling women to continue struggling against oppression.
