Getting Started

Subject/Unit: Physical Education - SEPEP

Term 2
 Task A
 Divide your class into 3 even teams (for example if you had a class of
12 boys and 12 girls), you would have:
- Team #1 (choose team name) 4 boys and 4 girls = team of 8
- Team #2 (choose team name) 4 boys and 4 girls = team of 8
- Team #3 (choose team name) 4 boys and 4 girls = team of 8
 This should be done in week 1 and prior to starting the sports

 Task B
 Choose 3 sports to play over the course of the unit, for example 1
lesson of basketball (where 1 team runs it and the other 2 teams play
each other), 1 lesson of AFL (where 1 team runs it and the other 2
teams play each other), and 1 lesson of volleyball (where 1 team runs
it and the other 2 teams play each other)

 Task C
 To keep it random and avoid disputes, allow the students to draw the
letters A, B, C, D, E, F out of a hat and that is their role for when their

if team #1 is drawn out first, they will be presenting the sport of x
(basketball) while the other 2 teams play each other

- 4 x basketballs (for warm up + skill development + game)
