SCOPE ACTIVITIES

A.) PRODUCTIVE MHRS: these are man-hours consumed which contributed to the output of a
work activity for a work scope.

FABRICATION WORK ACTIVITIES (CMO, MII facility):

Examples of Work Activity for Fabrication scope

 Lay-outing of steel for cutting, drilling , bending etc.


 Cutting of steel using Cutting outfit; radial cutting machine
 Grinding after cutting
 Bevelling
 Splicing
 Drilling using magnetic drill
 Build-up
 Rolling using Plate roller
 Bending using Press Break Machine
 Fit-up/assembly
 Fullwelding
 Others : Pls specify if not in the list

TRIAL ASSEMBLY WORK ACTIVITIES

 Fit-up/assemble
 Welding/bolting
 Dismantling/disassemble

MACHINING WORK ACTIVITIES (activities using Machines/Equipment)

 Cutting using Shearing Machine, Bandsaw Machine


 Drilling using Radial Drill
 Boring using Lathe Machine
 Machining using Plano mill

ERECTION WORKS (@ site activities):

B.DIRECT-SUPPORT: these are man-hours consumed which DO NOT directly contribute to the
output of a work activity or for a Work scope.

 Hauling of materials (raw & work in process matls,etc.)


 Preparation/segregation of materials
 Jigs Preparation
 Spider support, strongback
 Cosmetics/Touch-up
 Scaffolding
 Monitoring
 Assisting in Warehousing works
 punchering
 Assisting in inspection/testing /surveying works
 Assisting in Delivery process
 Crating works
 Cleaning @ work area
 Punchlisting Activities
 Works for safety purposes: lifeline, human basket
 Others: Pls. specify if not listed

C.ABNORMALITIES: these are man-hours consumed that affects the continuous flow of
production, causes of delays & work stoppage.

 Repair (after QC inspection)


 Reworks due to revision of drawings
 Modification/Rectification works
 Idle time due to equipment breakdown
 Idle time due to weather condition (heavy rain, storm)
 Accident @ workplace

D.FORMED PART OF THE PROCESS:

 Toolbox meeting/housekepping
 Personal needs

E.RECLASS: these are man-hours consumed in activities charged to other j.o’s
