Optimize Water Hardness with Sialex®

The document discusses how a Sialex® ring can be used to prevent scaling in water pipes. In an ideal situation without scaling, the water hardness measured entering a pipe would be equal to the water hardness measured exiting the pipe. However, when installing a Sialex® ring onto an already scaled pipe, there would initially be more scale particles detected in the exiting water along with a gradual increase in water hardness over time, until reaching a point where the entering and exiting water hardness levels are equal, indicating the pipe has been cleaned of scale. A similar process would occur when installing a Sialex® ring onto a previously cleaned pipe system to maintain the prevention of scale buildup over time.

time
Ex. Water “hardness “ measured at point where water enters the specific water circuit (pipe) = 250mg/L
Water “hardness” measure at point where water leaves the specific water circuit (pipe) = 250mg/L

Therefore: “In water” 250mg/L (CaCo3)

Less “Out water” 250mg/L (CaCo3)
Scale in pipe (CaCo3) “0”
Installation Sialex®Ring onto already “Scaled” water circuit

Sialex®Ring existing pipes

scale Initially notice more „Scale“ particles passing through water pipes.
Also gradual increase in „Hardness“ (CaCo3) in water leaving circuit.
Then a gradual decrease over time until a point where:
“hardness in“ is ideally equal to “Hardness out“ .
