FUNDRAISING
Penguin Patch - The Penguin Patch is coming!! Look out of information coming home in
November for our Penguin Patch, the holiday shop where students can purchase low cost gifts for
their family and friends. Our holiday shop is scheduled for 12/10/18-12/14/18.
Box Tops - Our November submission has been mailed. We have thus far earned $380.20 for
2018-2019 school year. Our contest, "Make the Grade" continues. Current Leaders - Pre-K: Klein
AM Class; SEC: Bernard; K: Froehlich; 1st: Shields; 2nd: Wolfer; 3rd: Peters; 4th: Niewinski; and
5th: Shafran. Keep turning in those Box Tops to help your student's class win!
Shoparoo - We have only had one new parent sign up since the end of September. Please
encourage family members to use the app. It is so easy! It's a no hassle, simple way to fund-raise
for our school. You simply scan receipts into the app. Each grocery receipt is worth Roo points,
which are converted into dollars and mailed to the school each October. All other receipts
become contest entries. The more contest entries we have, the bigger the chance to earn over
50,000 Roo points! We just received last year's check, for $389.53. We could earn so much more,
if all PTA members and student parents participated. A grade level contest will take place after
the New Year.
