I am preparing a study on the ATEX risk assessment for the establishment of an Kelly Itua Irabor
ATEX (hazardous area) risk management system in the oil and gas processing plant Technical / Process Safety Engineer
(zoning plan, technical and organizational barriers prevention / protection / Follow Kelly Itua
mitigation/training..etc), based on European directives EC 94/9, EC 99/92 , and API See all members 
RP 500/505 , NFPA .. .
My questions:
- Are there proven tools for ATEX risk assessment ? Your group contribution level
- How to determine on a probabilistic approach the location and zoning ATEX
design? Start by commenting in a discussion. Group
- Is it possible to use the dispersion model (PHAST software) to determine the participants get 4x the number of profile views.
extent of the LEL gas / vapor ? Also for ignition sources. knowing that the ATEX
concept for the above-mentioned European directives are required in the context of
improving the occupational health & safety safety of personnel and not under the
major accident management. I found some studies, but are still qualitative, as the
probabilistic dimension is central in this approach.
