NOTE: EndNote does not automatically double space the bibliography in Word when using Cite While You Write, even for

APA 6th style in EndNote like you can for other formatting details. To change this, go to the EndNote X9 tab in Word and click

The window below will pop up. Click on the Layout tab and change the Line spacing from Single to Double and click OK.
Changing Styles You can easily change format styles by going to your EndNote tab in Word and choosing the

Important Note: Any changes you make to your citations in Word should be made through EndNote’s Edit &

EndNote library sharing -- There are multiple ways of sharing citations using EndNote. Please contact us if you have
questions, or need any assistance. We would be happy to walk you through your options. Scroll to the bottom to
see contact information. Below is one option for sharing:
EndNote library sharing such that multiple users can enter the same library and edit records at the same time is
possible starting with version X7.2. With version X7.2 you can share you library with up to 14 people. Version X8
allows sharing with up to 100 people.
In order to be able to share a library, you must setup EndNoteSync

In EndNote, click on the Sync button . If you have not already set up this feature, you will be prompted
to click the Sign Up button to begin the registration and activation process. Follow the online instructions.

NOTE: Do not move or rename your EndNote library files after they are synchronized, as this will break the link to
the Sync target library.

After setting up EndNoteSync, go to File > Share and enter the email addresses of the people you want to share
with. The people you share your library with will also need EndNote X7.2 and later, and an EndNoteSync account.
They will receive and email with your invitation to share a library.
