QM Certificate From Supplier

To check if a certificate was received for a supplier receipt using quality management in SAP, one can enable QM procurement in the material master, select a control key that requires a certificate, choose a certificate type, and upon receiving the certificate from the vendor, use transaction QC51 to acknowledge receipt. Until the certificate receipt is acknowledged, the usage decision code will show as "certificate missing".

If you want to determine whether or not a certificate was received from

a supplier for a given receipt, you can do the following if you are using
quality management.

1 - go to the QM view of the material master and set 'QM procurement


active'
2 - select a control key that has 'certificate required'
3 - select a certificate type (depending on configuration, this can block
the usage decision unless a certificate has been received)
4 - upon receipt of the Certificate of Analysis from the vendor, run
transaction QC51 to indicate receipt of a certificate.

Until the certificate receipt is acknowledged, the usage decision code


will be CTCM 'certificate missing' s
