AA TYPE
Midland transceivers are easy to use, lightweight and compact, with engaging design, enabling you
to communicate easily with many people ..saving you money and time.
PMR446 devices operate on frequencies within 446 Mhz (8 channels) and have 500mW transmission
power.
Dual Band equipment, work on two bands, the PMR446 and the LPD band which is within 433 Mhz (69
Channels) with output power about 10mW.

Coverage
The maximum range depends on terrain condition and is obtained when used in an open space.
The only limitation to maximum possible range are environmental factors such as blockage caused
by trees, buildings, or other obstructions. Inside a car or a metallic construction, the range can be
reduced. Normally the coverage in the city, with buidings or other obstructions is about 1 or 2 Km. In
open space but with obstructions like trees, leafs or houses the maximum possible range is about 4-6
Km. In open space, without obstructions and in sight, like for example in the mountains, the coverage
can be more than 12 Km.

Midland BT Single can be connected in Bluetooth mode to your own mobile phone or your GPS.
If used in combination with a mobile phone with MP3 player feature, FORWARD/REPLAY and PLAY/STOP controls can be

Midland BT Single is fitted with a plug that enables it to be wired to an iPod/MP3 player and to PMR446 transceivers that PMR446
allow communications between multiple bikes or group of bikes up to 5 Km of distance.
Midland BT Single is provided with AGC function that automatically controls the volume in relation to background noise.
BT Single device cannot be connected with other Midland BT line devices.

A journey in the New World in 4x4 campers organized by the
Ardito Desio Association, previously famous for heading the
expedition which led to the conquest of the K2, which left an
indelible landmark in the history of the 19th Century.
Two campers travelled across the entire American continent,
from the Land of Fire to Alaska from the beginning of 2008 until
July 2009. Throughtout this year and a half numerous meetings
with the comunities having ties with Emilia Romagna, Liguria and
Friuli took place, with stops in various cities involving itinerant
exhibitions dedicated to Ardito Desio, visits to the most important
paleonthological (dinosaurs) and archaelogical sites. This is
intended as a small contribution towards Geography.

Trophy”.
