To attain this level of completeness, the tech rider for a
‘Sonu Nigam - Live in Concert’ has been designed after a
lot of thought and planning. Any compromise in the
design is likely to affect the magnitude of the show. We
request you to kindly comply with the technicalities
mentioned herein thereby ensuring a memorable
concert!
HOSPITALITY
& LOGISTICS
AIR TRAVEL & GROUND TRANSPORT
Flight Ticket (ONLY DIRECT / JET AIRWAYS / EMIRATES)

- 3 First class
- 2 Business class
- 21 Economy class (Inclusive of 6 tickets for dancers)
* Low cost airlines will not be accepted. Check with management before booking.

Transport for Sonu Nigam


1. 2 Mercedes OR BMW cars ONLY. (cars will remain with artist at all
times and not be used by anyone else)
2. 1 Innova Car for Sonu nigam Staff.

Transport for Troupe

1. Transport for the entire troupe required from the Airport to the Hotel
and to the venue and back to airport.

15 INNOVA cars for band and technical crew.


3 INNOVA cars for dancers.

2. Separate transport for the technical staff required on day of show


and back.

3. Separate luggage van required with capacity of aprox. 35 big


pieces of luggage, from the airport to hotel to venue and back.

All drivers must know the address, directions, name of hotel, venue and
airport.

All cars must have car parking pass for the venue before hand.

Drivers must be told of timings for airport pick up and drop.

Driver must be contactable at all times.

ACCOMMODATION
Rooms for Sonu Nigam

All rooms must be booked in a 7 Star or 5 Star Hotel ONLY.


1 Presidential Suite.
14 Deluxe rooms on single / double occupancy. (Inclusive of 3 rooms for dancers)

The rooms should be made available as soon as the Artist reaches the
hotel.
Check- in and check - out times should be according to the flight timing.

Rooms for Troupe

Rooms are on double / single occupancy basis and should have two
separate beds.

A luggage store room should be available on the ground floor of the


hotel to store the Musical instruments. The hotel cloak room also serves
the purpose.
The rooms should be made available as soon as the Troupe reaches the
hotel.

The troupe should not be made to wait at the lobby because of early
flight time or what ever reason.

The troupe has very less time to rest and get ready for the show and that
should be respected.
Check- in and check - out times should be according to the flight timing.

Rooming list will be provided 1 week prior to show day.

FOOD & BEVERAGES

Indian and Continental food is preferred by the entire troupe.

Troupe is vegetarian & non vegetarian.

All meals should be organized in the hotel for the troupe soon after the
troupe reaches from airport and after the show. Individual room service
or buffet.

6 bottles of Mineral water (1 liter each) per room per day should be supplied.

Mobile Phone Requirements Only For All International Shows

2 Nos GSM Simcards With Enough Talktime Charge For Sonu Nigam.

4 GSM Simcard With Enough Talktime Charge For technitians.

1 GSM Simcard With Enough Talktime Charge For Band Leader.

2 GSM sim card with enough talk time Recharge for the Artiste Manager.
VENUE
SECURITY

Five Security guards/bouncers from the Local reputed security agency


for Sonu Nigam from arrival to departure to the concert venue on their
own vechicals.
Adequate security to be provided to the band after the concert.

4 Support/Volunteers to be provided at the time of the loading and


unloading of the Music Instruments.

Two active fire extinguishers in all green rooms should be kept and at
least 4 active fire extinguishers should be mounted at reachable
position in any emergency on the stage.

Back stage lights should be mounted for safe entry and exit from/to the
green room.

All ACCESS passes should be given to all band members, technical crew
and dancers. Security agency (ies) must be provided with a sample of
such passes and car passes for an easy entry of the performers/crew.

All green rooms must have name boards on them.

Green room must be spacious and close to the stage with proper ground
leveling and carpeting.

Proper VIP chemical toilet to be provided only and only for the use of Artist.

It should be air-condition / heater (acc. to season ) with full length mirror,


proper lighting and clean 3 seater sofa and 6 chairs.

There should be 2 fresh new hand and face towels.

Mineral water bottles (room temperature) tea and coffee and light snacks
(veg and non – veg.),Soft/energy Drinks (Non-alcoholic) with fresh clean
cups and glasses.

No visitors allowed in the green rooms.

Need exclusive 25 tickets in the first row.

GREEN ROOMS
Incase The Above Cannot Be Given

Sonu Nigam will require a spacious and Air-Condition Vanity Van close
to the stage.

The van must be clean and must smell fresh.

It must have a mirror and proper lights

It should have water at room temperature, tea, coffee, sandwich


(veg/non-veg), fresh cups , glasses.

There should be 2 new fresh hand and face towels.

No visitors will be allowed.

Supporting Artist, Band , Tech Crew, Dancers

Female Singer, Emcee, Band, Tech Crew, Dancer green rooms must be
adjacent to the stage with mirrors, Mineral water bottles (room temperature)
tea and coffee and light snacks (veg and non – veg.),Soft/energy Drinks
(Non-alcoholic) and appropriate seating arrangements.

All green rooms should be spacious and done with proper black cloth( not
transparent) on all four sides and also from the top. It should have a full
length mirror and with proper lights, with adequate clean seating and
tables, with enough fans.

There must be 4 chemical toilets, which should be only for artists and crew.
They must be fresh and clean at all times.

FOH REQUIREMENTS
The following rider must be given to Sound, Light and Video vendors at
least 10 days before the show and each spec must be confirmed with
each Technician individually.

Proper Splitter For splitting the signal Bet the FOH and MONITOR Mix.

After The Communication From The Vendor On Mail We Will provide


You the Show File For The respective Console In Advance.

The FOH Console position Should be in the center and not more than
75 feet away from the stage. A min 2 feet riser for the console table is
required.

Only Line Array System Will Be Accepted

Center fills required as per stage size.

In Case Of Marrige Event, The Dance Floor Has to have Center Fills.
(Please keep in mind that this is a very loud concert the dynamic range is
around 110db. While designing the system consider a good headroom.)

Processors

Speaker management system with respect to speakers selected.


(The Crossover has to be Installed at the FOH and has to be
password opened for editing.)
The main PA Sub Woofers to be connected thru an AUX 13 not on LR.

VENUE
STAGE REQUIREMENTS
Stage Size

Minimum stage size is 50/40 feet (L/B) for an out door event.
For an indoor event minimum stage size should be Min .35/25 feet.
The stage should be covered if out door in case of rains and heavy
sunlight.
The Flooring Of the stage Has To Be Even And Hard. Stair cases on both
the sides of stage.
No stairs from the front side please.

Note:- Silent blower fans to be spread across stage(15Qty)


Stage Ramp

Preferably No ramp .

If ramp is Unavoidable , Please ensure that the PA is installed at the end


of the Ramp And not behind the ramp as this being a live event ,FOH
feed back is an issue.

Please call the FOH engineer before finalizing the ramp.

Stage Risers

2 nos. riser's req. of size 8' length and 8' depth and 24” height as shown in
stage layouts for drummer, Octapad.

The Drum Riser Has To Be covered With A Carpet.

Leave a gap of 6' downstage till the riser and do the placement of riser's
accordingly.( refer the layout)

Note

If there is any other extra video equipment, cameras, shooting, recording


other than what has been mentioned above it has to be known, verified
and clarified by me.
Recording of the show is only done for the artist which is only 1 copy and
there will be no other copies or even promises made to make copies for
public or promotors or sponsors.

If there are any promotion material – videos to be on USB .MOV video


format and logos on jpegs 1080p format. These can be played on the
screens before the show starts and otherwise when needed.

8mm or 10mm Pitch Only ( do not mix and match) 500mm x 500mm
panel size.

Important Note

Sound mixing console EQ/FX Racks, Light Mixing Desk, Video console
should be placed at the center of the Venue 60' from the front of stage.

Please do not cover speakers and stage with posters or promo material.

ready duly pre checked at least eight hours before the show.

All suppliers must be present during the time of sound check.

We require 3 hours for sound check in an ideal situation.

Professional Recording of the show is not allowed. For inquiries regarding

Advertising & Promotions

Artwork of the material using the images of SONU NIGAM for advertising &
other promotional purposes needs to be pre approved by the Artist.

LICENCES

Permissions & Licenses

All permissions required including police, traffic, entertainment tax, fire


marshal, should be taken 15 days in advance. The artist will not be liable
for any of the above.
