GUIDE TO REGISTRATION
FOR MAH-MBA/MMS CET 2019

2) There’s a tab called “MAH-MBA/MMS-CET 2019 Information Brochure”. If you click on this, you
can download the information brochure uploaded by the DTE. This has all relevant information
about the CET 18, including steps to be followed for registration, documents needed, guidelines,
some sample questions, etc.

STEPS TO COMPLETE REGISTRATION:

2) If you have not registered yourself, click on the “Click Here for New Registration” tab.
3) Another way to start the registration process is to click on the following link:

4) Click on the “Click here for New Registration” tab.
5) If you follow Steps 1 and 2, or Steps 3 and 4, the following screen is displayed, showing Some
Important Points to be noted. Go through them and click on Continue.

BASIC INFO
1) In this page, you need to enter all your Basic details such as Name (First Name, Middle Name,
Last Name), Mobile Number, an Alternate Contact Number and Email Id. Please fill the details
accordingly.
2) Please ensure that the name you enter matches the name given in your documents (Photo Id)
which you will submit at the time of the examination and for the forthcoming process.
3) When you enter the First, Middle and the Last name, the Full Name field gets updated
automatically.
4) While entering the email id, suppose your domain name is not part of the drop down list. Select
Others. A text box opens up, in which you can type your domain.
5) Once you enter your details, enter the Security code and click on Save and Next.
6) A prompt comes, asking you whether all details are correct. Please note that Basic info cannot
be edited later. So please be careful while entering information here.
7) If all information is correct, please click on Ok.
8) A new screen opens, displaying your Registration Number and Password. An SMS and email for
the same is also entered. Please note down these details for further use.
9) Please note that after this, the basic data cannot be edited.

PHOTO AND SIGNATURE
1) Below your Registration Id and Password, the screen for uploading photo and signature is
displayed.
2) You have 2 text boxes with upload buttons, one for uploading the Photograph and the other the
signature.
3) Guidelines for the photograph and signature have been given too. Kindly go through them.
4) Pay special emphasis on the background required and the size, both in pixels and dimensions.
5) Click on Browse and select the photos, for both candidate photograph and signature.
6) The photos are displayed on screen, for you to check once again.
7) If all the data entered on this screen is ok, click on Next.

Details:
1) A new screen opens up, asking you to fill in your details.
2) There are 2 types of details : Basic and Qualification/Experience/Languages
Basic Details:
1) Social Category :
a. Here you need to choose whether you are an open candidate or a reserved candidate. If
you have a reservation, you need to choose that.

b. When you choose a particular reservation, a pop up is displayed, explaining the
documents you need to submit at the time of document verification (this generally
happens in May)
c. If you belong to SC or VJ/DT (NT (A)) or NT (B) or NT(C) or NT (D) or OBC or SBC or SEBC
categories and are indicating it in the form, you need to produce “Caste Validity
Certificate” issued by Scrutiny Committee of Social Welfare Department and the
Candidate belonging to ST category should submit “Tribe Validity Certificate” issued by
Scrutiny Committee of Tribal Department and valid Non Creamy Layer certificate except
SC, ST candidates at the time of verification of documents.
d. Please note that if you come under one of the following categories: VJ/DT-NT (A)/NT
(B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC/SEBC , but you come under the Creamy layer, you will need
to indicate your category as Open.
e. If you have a linguistic minority, you don’t need to mention it now. There’s a separate
form during the admission process when you need to mention this.
f. If you don’t have a social reservation (SC, ST, OBC, SBC, SEBC, VJ/DT, NT, etc.), but have
a religious/linguistic minority, right now you need to choose Open in this form.
g. If you select Open, the questions on Reserved candidate, Caste certificate, Caste validity,
Tribe validity, etc. get disabled. But if you select one of the categories, you will have to
answer these questions.
2) Disability (if any, 40% and above)
a. If you select Yes, you need to select Type of disability from the drop down box.
b. You need to select one from Blindness, OH and Others. You will then also need to select
a value from Sub type of disability.
c. There are questions on whether you need compensatory time, your writing speed is
affected, whether you are affected by cerebral palsy, do you need a scribe, etc. Answer
them accordingly.
d. Please note that if you selected No for the field Type of Disability, all these fields get
disabled .
3) Religion: Select your religion and indicate whether you belong to a religious minority or not.
4) Domicile and Maharashtra State/Other Maharashtra State/ J & K Migrant Candidates :
a. If you are a Maharashtra Domicile, select Yes for the Domicile question
b. For the question of Maharashtra/Non Maharashtra/J&K Migrant candidates, select the
suitable answer.
c. If you choose Yes, a drop down is displayed. Choose the answer accordingly.
5) Non Creamy Layer Group:
a. If you had selected VJ/DT-NT (A)/NT (B)/NT(C)/NT(D)/OBC/SBC/SEBC in the social
category question, this question is enabled. Select the answer accordingly.
b. If you had not selected one of the above mentioned categories, this question is disabled.
c. Please note that if you come under one of the above categories, but you come under
the Creamy layer, you will need to indicate your category as Open.

6) Centre of Examination Preference:
a. You need to indicate 3 preferences for centres of examination in decreasing order of
preference.
b. For students intending to take the CET in Mumbai, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane and
Virar are given as separate options. Please choose accordingly.
7) Home State : Please choose accordingly.
Personal Details:
1) Here you need to fill the following details:
a. Date of Birth
b. Gender
c. Marital Status
d. Names of Father, Mother and/or Spouse
e. Address for Correspondence and Permanent Address
2) Please fill the details accordingly.

Application Fee/Intimation Charges:
1) Here you are asked to fill in details regarding your Bank account : Account No, IFSC Code, Bank
Name and Branch
2) If you don’t have an account yourself, you could enter the details of your parents’ account.
3) These details are asked because in case there’s a cancellation of the exam and the DTE needs to
refund your application fee, they can directly credit it to the account whose details are given
here.
4) Once you are finished entering all Basic details, click on Validate your Details.
5) If there are errors anywhere, the system indicates so and you will need to make changes.
6) If the whole data satisfies the requirements, the system shows a message : Verified
Successfully.
7) Click On Ok. Click On Save and Next.
Qualification:
1) You need to enter your educational qualifications as on 01/04/2019
2) Please enter your details accordingly.
3) Under Graduation, the options given for the Degree field are Arts, Commerce, Science,
Management, Agriculture and Others.
4) If your degree field is not one of these (For example, Engineering), select Others. A new Text
Box is displayed. Enter the value accordingly.

5) There’s a field indicating Appearing/Passed. If you have cleared your degree, select Passed. If, as
on 01/04/2019, you will not clear your degree, select Appearing.
6) If you select Appearing, all the remaining fields get disabled. But if you select Passed, you will
need to fill in details regarding date of Passing, Duration (in years), Aggregate Marks/Score,
Marks/Grade obtained, Maximum Marks/Grade , % of Marks and Class/Grade Obtained.
7) In the field Aggregate Marks/Score by, if you have marks with you, select Aggregate Marks. If
you have Grade points, select Grade points.
8) Please check your Final year marksheet. If the marks/grade for only the Final Year are
mentioned, enter that value. If the marks/grade for all the years have been given, enter that
value.
8) Once you have entered all desired values, please click on Validate and Next. If there are errors
anywhere, the system indicates so and you will need to make changes.
9) If the whole data satisfies the requirements, the system shows a message : Verified
Successfully.
9) Click on Ok and then Save and Next
Preview:
1) In this screen, all the data entered by you is displayed together.
2) If you feel that any data is incorrect, you can click on Back and re edit the data.
3) Apart from the data on the Basic Info page, all the remaining data (the data on the Photo and
Signature, Details screen) can be edited.
4) If you are fine with all the entered Data, click on the checkbox “I agree” for the Declaration.
Check your photo and click on the checkbox “I confirm that this is my photo”. Check your
Signature and click on the checkbox “I confirm that this is my Signature”.
5) Then click On Final Submit.
6) Please note that once you do this, you cannot edit any data. So please do this only after you are
sure that all entered data is correct.
7) When you click on the button “Final Submit”, if there’s an error, the system tells you
accordingly. If everything is fine, a message is shown “Are you sure as no change/edit of
Application will be after submit”. If you are sure, click on Ok.
Payment:
1) In this screen, the payment details (Rs 1000 for an Open category student, Rs 800) are shown.
2) Enter the security details and click on Submit.
3) Select the mode of Payment and complete the process.
4) With this, you get an email and sms, saying that your application fee has been received and your
application has been registered successfully.
5) Post this, whenever you login onto the website using your Registration Number and Password,
your online Application form is displayed. You can take a printout of the same. You are also
allowed to take a printout of your e receipt if needed.

General Points to be noted:
1) At any point of time, suppose you wish to stop filling the form and fill the remaining details
later, you can logout by clicking on the Logout button on the top right end of the screen. Ensure
that you have saved the data entered till then by clicking on Save and Next.
2) When you want to edit the data/enter new data, click on the following link :

4) Then click on the tab “Login for already Registered Candidates”
5) If you follow the steps described in point 2, or in points 3 and 4, the form is displayed for editing
and entering data.
6) The Basic Info cannot be edited, but the remaining data can.
7) Please note that once you click on Final Submit and Ok, you cannot edit any data again. Post
this, if you login, the application form and the receipt are displayed for taking printouts.
