M.Sc - Computer Science/Information Technology and other related disciplines
MCA with B.Sc/BCA/B.Com/BA (with Mathematics/Statistics)
Percentage Criteria
A candidate should have a minimum aggregate of 60% throughout in Class X, XII, Diploma (if applicable), UG & PG
(if applicable).
Backlogs
A candidate should not have more than 1 pending backlog at the time of appearing for the test.
Academic Gap Criteria
Overall gap in academics should not exceed 2 years
Academic Course Completion
All academic courses should be nished within the stipulated course duration as per TCS Eligibility Criteria and/or
they should be complete within the duration as prescribed by the Board/University.

First attempt implies that the candidate should clear the nal year/semester examination (including Xth, XIIth,
Diploma, Graduation and Post-Graduation as applicable) with minimum aggregate (aggregate of all subjects in all
semesters) marks of 60% and above within the stipulated duration of the course itself. For example, if a candidate
has secured 58.9 % (aggregate of all subjects) in Standard XIIth examination in the rst attempt and has taken an
improvement exam in the next attempt securing 62 %, he/she does not full the TCSL eligibility criteria as
marks/CGPA obtained during the normal duration of the course only will be considered.
It is mandatory to declare the gaps if any, during the academic tenure. Break in education should not be due to
extended education. Any such break should not exceed 24 months and is permissible only for valid reasons.
Relevant document proof, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.

Only Full time courses will be considered (Part Time/Correspondence courses will not be considered).

Candidates with more than 3 years of work experience will not be permitted to participate in the TCS Selection
process.

Candidates should meet the below specied age criteria at the time of appearing for the TCS selection process:
Minimum age – 18 years and

Maximum age - 28 years

Other Important Points to Note:

1) We would be capturing your bio-metric prole (nger print) at the time of your appearance for TNQT. By
participating in TNQT, you are explicitly sharing your consent for TCS to capture your biometric prole and utilize
the same for identity validation before or during on-boarding into TCS.

2) It is mandatory to carry the below mentioned documents with you on the day of the test:
Ÿ Two color print copies of your Hall Ticket.
Ÿ Your photo identity proof in original for verication (PAN Card / Driving License / Passport / Voter ID / Aadhar
Card).
Ÿ In case you do not have any of the mentioned Photo ID proofs, it is mandatory to carry Photo Identity proof
issued and attested by a Gazetted Ofcer on ofcial letter head.

You will not be permitted to appear for the test if you fail to carry the TCS Hall Ticket and any of the above
mentioned documents.

3) Stationery: You are permitted to carry only 2 HB pencils (No mechanical pencils) inside the examination hall.
Please carry your own stationery as borrowing of these items from others will not be allowed. Rough sheets will be
provided by TCS at the venue.

4) Banned Items: Bags, pens, mechanical pencils, mobile phones, scientic calculator and other electronic
devices are strictly prohibited in the examination hall. The examination center will not be responsible for
safekeeping of these items.

5) Unfair Means: Adoption of any unfair means at the examination hall will result in disqualication from the TCS
Selection Process.

(i) I hereby certify that I meet the TCS Eligibility Criteria and the information furnished by me in the
TCS Registration/Application Form is factually correct and subject to verication by TCS.
(ii) I hereby declare that I meet the above mentioned eligibility criteria and that I could be disqualied
from the TCS selection process any time, if I am found to be falling short on any of this criteria.
