What is collaborative teaching and learning?
Collaborative learning is a method of teaching and learning in which students team
together to explore a significant question or create a meaningful project. A group of students
discussing a lecture or students from different schools working together over the Internet on a
shared assignment are both examples of collaborative learning.
In cooperative learning, students work together in small groups on a structured activity.
They are individually accountable for their work, and the work of the group as a whole is also
assessed.
EXAMPLE OS COLLABORATIVE LEARNING TECHNIQUES

The learning activity involves explaining answers/
BENEFITS OF INTEGRATIVE APPROACH
1. Help alleviate fragmentation of learning and isolated skill instruction
2. Train students to think and reason at a higher level (critical thinking)
3. Provide instruction in a more relevant and interesting to the students
Goal: Integrative teaching is supposed to allow students to learn how to approach a problem as
they might have in the real world and getting them to consider a single issue from the different
angles.
Method: An integrative curriculum emphasizes projects rather than individual, self-sufficient
lessons.
Other forms of Integrative Strategy:
1. Lecture – Discussion
2. Demonstration – Lecture Method
3. Film Showing Discussion
4. Reporting Discussion
III. ACTIVITIES
