ABOUT THIS CLASS & OBJECTIVES

This course provides the student with mathematical approach based on the probability theory
about the efficient and reliable working behaviour of any machine/equipment (electrical ,
mechanical, electronics etc), subjected to different working environments ,under different
operating conditions. A practical approach can be used and the survey report can be carried
out on the working behaviour of any machine based on the various formulas which are
provided by the probability theory .

COURSE PREREQUISTIES
The basic background of the course is the probability mathematics along with the statistics
from where the new formulas have been used for analysizing the various systems.

HOME WORK & ASSIGNMENT

Tutorial sheet would be provided based on the topic and student has to solve that particular
sheet as a part of their home work. Moreover , practice of the mathematical subject has
always proved beneficial.

CLASS ETHICS:
 No late entry in the class.
 No cell phones
 No eating/drinking
 Discipline must be maintained
INSTRUCTOR EVALUATION, QUESTIONS, COMMENTS,
SUGGESTIONS
Any doubt, query ,suggestion, discussion would be welcomed without disturbing the decorum
of the class.
