Rules for Cricket Tournament:

 All participants are requested to carry NextGen Employee ID Cards for the event, and present them
upon request.

 We request for all the players to wear appropriate sports gear (includes T-shirt, Track pants and
sports shoe).

 We request all the teams to come up with a Team Jersey/ t-shirt of same color.

 Overs decided as per the rounds will not be changed unless affected by rain or bad light.

 Umpires decision will be final in all cases and binding.

 The schedules once shared will not be altered. No requests will be entertained once schedules are
published. Please co-operate.

 For teams reporting 15 minutes later than the match start time, an over of their batting will be
deducted for every 5-minute delay then on.

 Tournament is of Knockout format.

 First Over of the Match must be played by Female player. Runs scored during this over will be
calculated. Full over will be played even in case of fall of wicket.

 There will be no LBWs & Leg Byes. All other Cricket rules will be applied in the tournament.

 Yellow Vicky Cricket Green Tennis Ball will be used in the Tournament and a new ball per innings
will provided in every match.

 1st Round [Qualifier round] and Quarter Final will be of 8 overs [7M+1F] per innings.

 Only 3 bowlers are allowed a maximum of 2 overs, rest of the overs can be shared by other bowlers.
1 over should be done Female player.
 Bowling structure will be 2-2-2-1-1.
 First 2 overs will be of Powerplay where only 2 Fielders are outside inner circle.
 After 1st over, all 11 Men players can take the field.

 Semi Final and Final will be of 10 overs [9M+1F] per innings.

 Only 1 bowler is allowed a maximum of 3 overs, rest of the overs can be shared by other bowlers.
1 over should be done Female player.
 Bowling structure will be 3-2-2-2-1.
 First 3 overs will be of Powerplay where only 2 Fielders are outside inner circle.
 After 1st over, all 11 Men players can take the field.

 12th man is permitted to field in case of a player/players gets injured during the match only, with the
discretion of the umpire as per standard rules. The twelfth man cannot bowl or bat.

 Only 1 bouncer is allowed in an over provided the ball passes between the shoulder and the head.
However, Ball passing over the head will be declared as a wide+ 1st bouncer (provided the batsman
doesn't touch the ball) warning will be given. Second Bouncer will be judged as No Ball.

 Free Hit is considered in the tournament as per the Cricket rules applied in the International format.
 A runner can be used only when a player gets injured during the innings or during fielding. A runner
cannot be used for a player who is injured before the start of the match. The runner can be used only
with the discretion of the umpires depending on the reason/cause

 If the bowler is found that he is bowling throw without swinging his arm. The batsman can appeal
for it after observing one or two balls. The batsman should not attend the ball just need to leave it
and to appeal with umpire. The umpires will take decision on it.
