Isabella I of Castile was a very devoted and religious person, her strong personality
made her to be one of the best queens in that era. She was the founder of Spanish
Inquisition, and the youngest woman crowned in Castile. 40p
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS CHARACTER? 30-40p
I chose her because she was a clear worthy model. Her values made her to have a
charitable personality, always helping population to move out of poverty and bringing
the crime rate to the lowest it had been in years. 40p
Part 2:
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am writing in response to the email I got from you asking for my opinion about some
aspects of your supermarket. Firstly, I would like to highlight that over the last two
months have had several changes that are putting on risk the future of the company.
On the one hand, I consider that workforce changes are affecting seriously your
prestige, because despite the fact that some new members of the staff are very young
and they have an earnest desire to work, they have not been sufficiently trained. Last
time I went to customer service to return a product, surprisingly, the attendant had no
thought much about how to refund me the money.
On the other hand, while shopping, I realized that corridors were unorganized, and it
was a difficult task to find some products I was looking for. Additionally, as of the
background music was too loud, I could not be focused in my shopping and I forgot to
take some of the items.
To summarize, I kindly suggest changing the music to some more relaxing one, settle
down regulations in order to place the products in the correct corridor and provide
better training to new staff members. These recommendations will undoubtedly
increase sales.

Part 3:
Street cameras, a double-edged sword?
Over the last few years, a wave of criminal incidents is taking place in different parts of
the world. Shoplifting, pickpocketing and thefts are being the most common acts
chosen by petty offenders. To solve these problems, some cities such as Sydney,
Beijing, Madrid and London have installed cameras in their streets as a security
measure.
On the one hand, security experts are on favour of CCTV´s by claiming they are the
best resource to prove crimes and deter perpetrators. In addition, according to police
reports, the amount of cameras settled (over twenty thousand in Sydney and thirty
thousand in Beijing) have risen above the intended outcome. Notwithstanding the
positive results in some places, Madrid and London effects are less encouraging, and
the installation of ten and thirty thousand respectively is not playing the key role
expected, as crimes have not decreased significantly in these cities.
By contrast, a survey reveals that three quarters of interviewed are extremely
concerned about their privacy since they can compromise individuals´ sense of
freedom. Furthermore, is generally believed that the installing cost may affect the
state budgets by modifying the amount of money allocated to the grants and taxes will
be increased significantly.
Without doubt, pros and cons should be analyzed in advance, and population may be
asked in order to establish less intrusive ways of cleaning the streets out of criminals.
