How to Begin a Digital Drawing Using Procreate

Step 1. Download Procreate

1. Open the Apple App Store.

2. Search for Procreate and download.

Step 2. Set up Drawing

1. Once the app has downloaded, setup the digital canvas to begin a new drawing. Click
the “+” symbol

2. After clicking the “+” sign, “New Canvas” settings will pop-up, then click “Create Custom
Size”. Next choose desired canvas size. Change settings from (preset) “Pixels” to
“Inches” and then set “Height” and “Width”. Last, click “Create”.

to 11 inches and
the “Height” to
8.5 inches.

Click “inches”

1. Now that the canvas has been, begin navigating the workspace and locating basic tools
used to begin drawing.
