Material Properties:: Main Builtup Girder Flexural Check

This document summarizes the flexural check of a main built-up girder. The girder has an I-section with SS400 steel plates. It is compact and has sufficient strength to resist the maximum required bending moment of 1400 kN-m and shear force of 160 kN. Welding and deflection checks are also satisfactory. Jacking force calculations for different segments are provided and 1-2 post-tensioning bars can provide the required jacking forces.
