The founding team comes with a collective experience of more than five decades in lending,
investment banking, structured finance and asset management, and are passionate about innovation
and the use of technology in the dissemination of financial services in India. The team has previously
collectively assessed more than 500 retail lending organisations in India and abroad, developed
underwriting frameworks for various types of retail lending in India and used capital markets to
deepen financial inclusion in India.
JOB DESCRIPTION – MEMBER , TREASURY
Role and Responsibilities
Treasury at Vivriti Capital is responsible for the following key functions:
1. Fund raising (Bank Loans, Debentures, Commercial Papers, Securitization, Asset Sale etc)
a. Prospecting: building credit appetite for Vivriti Capital from various lenders / investors
b. Developing and maintaining high quality collateral on a monthly / quarterly basis that
represents the company’s business clearly
c. Negotiation of terms
d. Deal execution
e. Deal reporting
2. Asset Liability Management (Liquidity and Interest Rate Risk)
a. Modelling the risk that we carry
b. Building and maintaining our floating rate benchmarks
c. Developing and recommending strategy
d. Monthly reporting to RBI and to internal stakeholders
3. Business Planning (Budgeting and Forecasting)
a. Developing a complex business plan that is linked to accounts, business and treasury
b. Closely monitoring parameters on weekly / monthly / fortnightly basis
c. Developing analysis, dashboards
d. Reworking the plan based on actuals and revised forecasts
4. Investor Relations (Equity Investors as well as Debt providers)
a. Maintaining high engagement with investors
b. Frequent and transparent reporting
5. Cash Management (Short term investments)
6. Return on capital
a. Developing and maintaining a framework for allocation of capital to business teams
b. Monitoring capital allocation, return on capital
7. Corporate rating
a. Interacting with rating agencies to rate the company’s debt
b. Developing high quality collateral to present the company’s business to the rating
agencies
We are seeking to expand the team to fulfil the above roles. The individual is expected to contribute
significantly in each of the above areas. You need to be comfortable doing both the interesting bits
(deal closures, new model/frameworks etc.) as well as the mundane (Trade entry, investor reporting,
internal notes, deal documentation etc). This is non-negotiable.
The role is unique as it provides a bird’s eye view of the business at every point in time and an
opportunity to interact closely with the management, board and top bankers, fund managers etc.
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES
Skills
1. You possess an excellent understanding of financial statements and performance indicators
2. You can code/model in excel – Advanced proficiency required
3. You can also work on PPTs/Docs - Intermediate proficiency required
4. You have excellent communication skills, able to clearly explain your point of view

Experience working with financial services companies will be an added advantage. Being an MBA/CA
would also be advantageous, however, we are comfortable with engineers too if they satisfy the above
