ABSTRACT

The Vendo Printing Machine is composed of a machine that is ease of access to

the consumer by providing printing services. The machine will use a touch screen

monitor to display the options for printing, file selection, document queued for printing,

number of papers available, amount needed, and amount inserted. The machine initializes

when a peso coin or bill is inserted in the money slot.

The system will record the transactions made during its uptime; it will also record

the amount collected from these following transactions, just like a usual Vendo Printing

Machine, the money in form of bills and coins will be inserted to the slot provided. In

case of malfunction of the coin slot, it is not catered by the program of audit of the

income. If such error as payment eaten will occur, the user can immediately notify the

admin via SMS. The admin will be notified by an SMS using the GSM module to check

the machine’s current status. The Vendo Printing Machine provides an easy and

accessible way to print documents.

The main objective of the project was develop and implement a machine that uses

raspberry pi to control the commands from the user to the printer. The project gives help
to students and professors with highly demand for printing documents. This is a

significant aid in availing printing services. They will be provided by hardcopies of their

documents without taking much of their time and effort going to computer shops.
