AEP Renewal Extension Notice 2018

Subject: Renewal of existing AEPs expiring on 31112/2018 and issuance of fresh AEP for a
period of one year i.e. upto 31112/2019 - reg.

Sir,
I am directed to refer to this office letter of even number dated 05110/20 18 on the subject
and say that, as per progress report received from the RD, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai in the
matter, the process of renewal of existing AEPs expiring on 31112/2018 for a period of one year
i.e. upto 31112/2019 has not yet been completed and some more time is required.

2. Accordingly, based on the number of pending AEPs for renewal, it has been decided to
extend the validity of existing AEPs issued by BCAS, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai regions,
expiring on 31112/2018, for the period as mentioned below against each BCAS region:

3. It is requested to complete the process of renewal/issuance by the aforesaid date positively


as no further extension shall be granted. The RDs shall ensure that only those persons who are
eligible for extension of their AEPs beyond 31112/2018 retain the AEP with extended validity. All
other AEPs shall be taken into custody by the concerned RDs immediately to avoid any misuse.

4. This issues with the approval of Director General, BCAS.
