Three energized periods allowed per hour.
35 seconds – ON.
3 minutes – OFF.

Minimum – 6000 RPM permissible 0 to 30 knots
Minimum – 6400 RPM continuous
Maximum – 6600 RPM

ROTOR LIMITATIONS

Minimum- 970 rotor RPM (294 RPM), permissible 0 to 30 knots.
Minimum- 9770 rotor RPM (314 RPM).
Maximum- 10070 rotor RPM (324 RPM).

POWER OFF
Minimum- 9170 rotor RPM (294 RPM).
Maximum- 104.570 rotor RPM (339 RPM)

ENGINE RATING
The helicopter is equipped with a T53-L-703 series engine which at 6600 RPM has
the following rates:

Take-Off Power (TOP) – 1800 shp


Maximum Continuous Power (MCP) – 1500 shp.

The helicopter is torque limited by the transmission to TOP (5 minutes) – 1290 shp
and MCP – 1134 shp which corresponds to 100% and 88% on the torque gauge when
operating at 6600 engine/324 rotor RPM
