Sheetkari PDF

Sheetkari is a pranayama technique where the practitioner inhales through the mouth while touching their teeth together, producing a hissing sound. It has cooling and calming effects and benefits such as reducing hypertension, hyperactivity, and excess pitta. However, it can cause issues for those with constipation, asthma, or missing/sensitive teeth. The technique involves inhaling through the mouth while teeth are exposed and exhaling through the nose, taking 10-20 breaths.
