We have 3 cloud providers;
1) AWS (Amazon Web Services) : the services that are available are the following; EC2 (virtual
Server), S3, RDS
2) Google Cloud : App engine, Compute Engine
3) Azure :
Virtual networking in the cloud
You are going to have systems that are need to communicate locally. You will therefore need IP
addresses, which needs rout ability and FQDN’s. For this to work you will need to have a lookup service
which is your DNS. So this all means that the same principles that you use on premise are also in the
cloud.
Cloud Deployment models and networking
When a company manages its own internal network and cloud network you then have full control as to
what security settings you are going to use, the IP addresses used ect.
But in the public cloud the cloud provider allocates you a portion and you will only be able to use that .
