To Whom It May Concern,
It is with great honor that I write a letter of recommendation for Christine Stern. I have known Christine
for two years as I am one of her Early Childhood Instructors at Waukesha County Technical College
(WCTC) and have directly supervised her student teaching at the Child Development Center at WCTC.
WCTC has high quality expectations, both the Child Development Center and Higher Ed program are
accredited by the National Association of the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Christine goes above
and beyond meeting the standards of both programs as a well-rounded teacher.
Christine shows a passion for working in the educational field, especially following best practices.
Christine’s ideas and use of teachable moments in the classroom are unparalleled. She has dedicated
herself to the children, families and other staff she works with. In addition to teaching in the classroom,
Christine is also active in the family activities that the school holds.
In addition to other higher education degrees, Christine also earned an Associate Degree in Early
Childhood in May of 2019. Christine maintained an “A” average throughout her coursework with
impressive projects, assessments and detailed papers. She always went above and beyond what was
required to complete assessments. Christine has also volunteered through the Education Club on
campus along with other volunteer work in the community.
Christine is a dedicated team member who will complete any task put before her. She is committed,
hard-working and a life-long learner. I feel that Christine is a good candidate for a position in the early
childhood field. She has proven herself to be a hard working teacher, true leader and dedicated team
player.
