Description
Primid®_XL-552 is a hydroxyalkylamide crosslinker for the formulation of exterior durable
powder coatings. It can be used in combination with carboxyl-terminated polyesters. The
constant and high reactivity of Primid®_XL-552 combined with a favourable toxicological
profile makes this crosslinker the industry standard for exterior durable powder coatings.

Powder coating formulation


Carboxylated polyester resins with an acid value from about 20 to 80 are preferred for
curing with Primid®_XL-552. A large number of suitable resins for a wide range of
powder coating applications are available from your resin supplier.
